Policy
- All services provided, or cancelled without at least 24 hours notice, will be charged to the account
- The customer has 30 days from when the payment is made to request a full refund (without processing fees) if we are not able to find a tutor to provide services
- The refund amount is the amount collected, minus the purchase price of the hours used from the last purchase (at current rates without promotion discounts), minus a $35 processing fee
- Example: 50 hours are purchased at the Mega rate, but only 22 are used. A 22 hour purchase would have been at the Bulk rate, so the cost of that purchase and the processing fee are subtracted from the amount collected.
Procedure
- The customer request a refund for their remaining balance
- The tutor is instructed to discontinue services and log all charges to the account within 3 days
- The customer has 5 days to challenge those sessions and charges
- If no charges are challenged, the refund amount is calculated and transaction initiated
- Refunds are usually made by refunding a portion of the online payment back to the purchasing party. If unavailable, the refund will be sent by check to the customer's mailing address.
- An email describing the transaction is sent to the customer
- If mailed, the customer should expect the refund within 5 business days after processing
